Three Committees

Capital Airport Passenger Service Promotion Committee

To maximize passenger satisfactions and to enhance coordination between organizations in BCIA, Beijing Capital International Airport Co., Ltd. established in July 27, 2004 the Passenger Service Promotion Committee which included 12 organizations in BCIA. After five years’ development, the Committee now has 28 member organizations who serve passengers from their homes to the airport, and from check-in to boarding.

Member Organizations’ Service Tenet:the first organization contacted by a passenger shall take primary responsibility; passengers first; anticipate passengers’ needs.

Security Management Commission of Beijing Capital Airport

Beijing Capital International Airport (BCIA) is the largest and busiest international airport in China with the most important geographic location and complete facilities. To guarantee aviation security and improve security management, Beijing Capital International Airport Co., Ltd. in compliance with provisions of Regulations on Security Management of Civil Airports established the Security Control Commission of Beijing Capital Airport (the Commission) in June 27, 2008. After one year’s development, the Commission now has 30 member organizations covering airline companies, joint inspection authorities, and ground operation and passenger service organizations in BCIA.

he Commission plays important roles in promoting safe production responsibility, organizing safe production, carrying out safe education, advocating safety control practices and improving safe operation in the Airport through its four mechanisms of communication and coordination, supervision and evaluation, information feedback, and incentives, and is dedicated to creating safe environment for both civil aviation cause and passengers.

Coordination and Management Commission for Capital Airport Operation

In order to build BCIA into a competitive world-class hub airport, on August 18, 2009, CAAC North China Air Traffic Management Bureau, Beijing Capital International Airport Co., Ltd., and Air China Ltd. jointly established the Coordination and Management Commission for Capital Airport Operation with members including China Southern Airlines Beijing Branch, China Eastern Airlines Beijing Branch, Hainan Airlines, and Beijing Capital Airport Airlines Operation Commission (AOC).

The Committee is dedicated to optimizing operation flow, improving operational efficiency and responding to extensive flight delays through its particular studies, regular communication and coordination and joint command. To ensure the effective mechanism and give full play to subjective initiative of related operational organizations, the Secretariat is set up under the Committee, and relevant personnel of the rotating presiding organization serves as the General Secretary. Based on this communication platform, member organizations of the Committee could further optimize air-ground operations and ground supports, better ensure normal flights, further improve the coordination mechanism and air-ground operational efficiency, and bring the general operation level of BCIA to a new stage.
