BCIA Offers Special Privilege Hotel Products for 72-hour Visa-free Transit Passengers

In order to provide convenient and pleasant service experience for 72- hour visa-free transit passengers, and enhance the attractiveness of 72-hour visa-free transit policy, BCIA, based on the actual needs of 72-hour visa-free transit passengers, offer special privilege hotel products for them.

According to report, the Privilege Hotels offered by BCIA for 72-hour visa-free transit passengers are mainly located at downtown areas, including the four-star and five-star hotels distributed along the routes of airport shuttle buses, and close to business districts and famous scenic spots With “Temporary Entry Seal” on their Visa, passengers enjoy the low discount hotel accommodation and other warm hearted hotel services. At present, four-star Xinhai Jinjiang Hotel located at Jinbao Street, Wangfujing, is 980 meters away from the station of Airport Shuttle Bus (From Beijing Railway Station to Capital Airport). The hotel will provide special discount up to 25 % to 72-hour visa-free transit passengers. Meanwhile if passengers upgrade their room type, they can enjoy additional value-added services such as free shirt washing service, free afternoon tea service, etc.

Previously, BCIA once provided free left luggage services for 72-hour visa-free transit passengers. Passengers with related demands can go to corresponding luggage counter, with “Temporary Entry Seal” on their Visa to enjoy free left luggage service (one piece). The luggage counter for this service is located at between Gate 8 and Gate 10, Second floor, Terminal 2, and another one is located at East side of Exit A of the Arrival Hall of T3.

January 1st 2013, BCIA formally implemented the 72-hour visa-free transit policy. Passengers with the passport of the countries listed on 72-hour visa-free transit policy, who need transfer in Capital Airport, and stay for less than 72 hours, can apply Beijing 72-hour visa-free transit procedures to frontier inspection department in Capital Airport. 72-hour visa-free transit policy is only applicable to the foreigners who enter into China from Beijing, and after short stay, still leave the country from Beijing.

Currently, there are 51 countries are applicable for the 72-hour visa-free transit policy in Capital Airport, including Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Russia, UK, Ireland, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania, the United States, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Brunei, United Arab Emirates, and Qatar.
