Scrupulous passengers may find that, when they are receiving security inspection in Capital Airport, they will no longer hear the words “turn round” from inspectors to assist their inspection. On the contrary, the security inspectors themselves will go to the back of passengers to conduct their inspection. Many passengers feel a special “warm” for this tiny service improvement.
In order to allow passengers to enjoy a pleasant travel experience from “door of home” to “door of flight” during the Spring Festival Travel Rush of this year, BCIA specially took seven “warm hearted” service measures of quick security inspection channel, considerate manual security inspection, “red waists-coat” waist bag, loving heart escort services, free electric power cart, etc., to let each passenger to experience meticulous humanistic care.
The first one is the barrier-free passageway. Barrier-free passageway is a channel specially designed for the aged, infants, pregnant women, and other passengers with illness, and the security inspectors will actively guide above mentioned passengers to go through this special inspection channel.
The second one is quick inspection channel. The three terminals of Capital Airport have established the “Non Luggage Quick Inspection Channels” Passengers without luggage or only carrying a small personal belongings (e.g., single-shoulder bag, cross body, handbag, and small backpack), and with their luggage at half-empty, can go through this quick inspection channel. “Small personal belongings” exclude precise instrument, photographic apparatus, large number of battery cables, powder or massive staff which require opening the package or may seriously affect the inspection efficiency.
The third one is the “Red waists-coat” waist bag. In order to provide good passenger services during the Spring Festival Travel Rush, BCIA has arranged service persons with “red waists-coat” at critical process points. Each service person with “Red waists-coat” is equipped with a waist bag, containing pens, note papers, sewing kit, woundplast, etc., to provide convenience for passengers.
The fourth one is the loving heart escort services. The special passengers arriving and leaving Capital Airport, such as the aged above 65 years old, the disabled, or pregnant women, may book the “loving heart escort services” from the website of BCIA or call the customer service center of BCIA (Tel: 64598249 for T1 and T2; 64558747 for T3) 24 hours in advance. After the success of the reservation, service staff will provide full range of escort services to the passenger on handling related procedures from arrival to the airport to the boarding gate. Airport service persons will wait at the boarding gate for arrival passengers, to assist them to pick up their luggage and send them to the exit of terminals of the airport.
The fifth one is providing free electric power cart. Departure passengers, after security inspection, can take free red electric power cart provided by BCIA to get to boarding gate, so as to avoid the inconvenience for long distance walk. The priority for this service will be given to the passengers close to boarding time, unable to move freely, and with infants.
The sixth one is the moving around manual security inspection. The security inspectors of BCIA, when conducting security inspection, will move around to the back of passengers to conduct their inspection, without requiring passengers to turn around. The short distance of one meter moving around in each inspection, the total walking distance of the inspector in the whole year could be as long as the distance one circle around the earth.
The seventh one is the service of “we help you to find your car”. In the parking buildings of T2 and T3 of Capital Airport, service staff with yellow waistcoats will provide passengers with multiple services including finding your car. Service persons with yellow waistcoats are distributed at the key areas of each level of parking buildings, and passenger may ask them directly for car finding service.
